The road to the top of the Game Changers Championship remains firmly in the hands of Shopify Rebellion Gold. The North American juggernauts delivered a clinical performance in São Paulo, dismantling SK Nebula with a clean 2-0 sweep to keep their upper bracket dreams alive.
From the opening pistol round, it was clear that SRG came prepared. While SK Nebula, featuring British talent fluxxy, looked to disrupt the rhythm of the favorites, they simply couldn't find an answer to the tactical depth and firepower of the North American side. The series ended with a 13-4 win on Haven and a tighter 13-11 scoreline on Summit, proving that while SRG can dominate, they also possess the composure to close out intense maps under pressure.
This victory is another chapter in the storied consistency of the Shopify Rebellion Gold roster. Having claimed the world title in both 2023 and 2024, the team is no stranger to the weight of expectations. Their current form—bolstered by a strong showing in the North American circuit—suggests they are once again the team to beat in this year’s matches.
The Road Ahead
With this win, the bracket sets the stage for a blockbuster encounter. Shopify Rebellion Gold is now scheduled to face KRÜ Blaze, a team that has been turning heads with their own impressive run in the tournament.
KRÜ Blaze earned their spot in this high-stakes upper bracket semifinal by taking down Gen.G GC in a thrilling 2-1 series. The upcoming clash between SRG and KRÜ is arguably the most anticipated fixture of the current stage, as both teams look to secure a path toward the grand final.
