The hierarchy of professional Dota 2 has a new, undisputed king. PARIVISION has officially been crowned champions of the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026, putting on a clinic in Paris to secure the trophy and a $750,000 top prize.
In a grand final that pitted them against regional rivals BetBoom Team, PARIVISION proved exactly why they are the team to beat this season. The 3-1 victory was a statement, capping off a tournament run where the squad looked nearly untouchable, dropping only three games throughout the entire event.
A Masterclass in Consistency
PARIVISION’s path to the title was anything but accidental. After entering the event as one of the tournament favorites, they dominated the Group Stage with a 9-1 record, dispatching opponents with a disciplined, high-tempo style that has become their trademark.
The synergy within the roster has reached new heights since the arrival of legendary coach Clement “Puppey” Ivanov earlier this year. With the mechanical brilliance of carry player Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov and the tactical leadership of Volodymyr “No[o]ne” Minenko, the team has evolved into a well-oiled machine. This win marks their second major Tier 1 trophy of the 2025-2026 season, following their success at DreamLeague Season 29.
What This Means for The International
While BetBoom Team fought valiantly to reach the final, they ultimately had no answer for the versatility in PARIVISION’s draft and their ability to control the map. For BetBoom, the second-place finish and $340,000 prize are respectable, but the shadow of their rivals looms large.
As the professional circuit pivots toward The International 2026, the momentum is firmly in the hands of the champions. PARIVISION heads into the biggest tournament of the year not just as a contender, but as the team everyone else is studying. If their current form holds, the Aegis of Champions has a very clear path to its next owners.
