The atmosphere inside the Super Bock Arena in Porto has reached a boiling point as the BLAST Open Fall 2026 tournament enters its critical stage. With the group stage in Copenhagen now a distant memory, the four remaining titans have converged on Portugal to battle for a share of the $1.1 million prize pool and, more importantly, the prestige of claiming this S-Tier trophy.
Spirit and MOUZ enter the semi-finals with the distinct advantage of having secured byes through their stellar group stage performances. Having topped their respective groups, these two squads have had the luxury of observing their opponents from the sidelines, waiting to see who would survive the gauntlet of the quarter-finals.
The playoff bracket has already delivered its fair share of drama. Falcons proved their mettle by dismantling G2 in a clinical 2-0 series, a result that continues their recent trend of dominance over the international mix. On the other side of the bracket, Vitality—fielding jL as a stand-in for the paternity-leave-bound mezii—battled through a grueling three-map series against FURIA to earn their place in the final four.
With the semi-final matchups set, the pressure is immense. Spirit now faces the momentum-heavy Falcons, while MOUZ prepares to test their tactical depth against a resilient Vitality roster. Every map, every clutch, and every tactical adjustment in the Super Bock Arena this weekend will be scrutinized as teams look to finalize their form ahead of the upcoming Major season.
For those following the action, the stakes could not be higher. As the tournament progresses toward the best-of-five Grand Final, the question remains: which of these four squads has the endurance to lift the trophy in Porto?
