The professional Valorant scene is currently in the grip of a massive offseason reshuffle. As teams look to reset their trajectories for the 2027 season, three organizations—Team Secret, PCIFIC Esports, and ONSIDE Gaming—have made headlines with significant departures that signal a fresh start for their respective rosters.
Team Secret’s Continued Rebuild
Following a challenging 2026 campaign, Team Secret is moving forward with a major overhaul. The organization has allowed controller player Ko "Sylvan" Young-sub to explore his options for the upcoming season. Sylvan, who joined the squad in late 2025, is now a free agent looking for a new home in any region. This move follows a period of instability for the Filipino powerhouse, which also saw head coach Peter "Spin" Bradford depart the team earlier this month. The organization is clearly prioritizing a clean slate as they prepare for the next VCT cycle.
PCIFIC Esports and the Coaching Carousel
In the EMEA region, PCIFIC Esports is facing a difficult transition. After a winless 2026 season that saw the team struggle to find its footing, the organization is parting ways with head coach Manuel "thinkii" Martínez. His departure is part of a broader exodus, with players like al0rante, NINJA, and waddle also being allowed to explore their options. With contracts across the board expiring, the future of the organization's involvement in the top tier remains a point of intense speculation.
ONSIDE Gaming Disbands Roster
Perhaps the most drastic move comes from the Korean scene, where ONSIDE Gaming has officially parted ways with its entire 2026 roster and coaching staff. Despite a promising start to the year that included a championship run at VCT 2026 Korea Stage 1, the team failed to maintain that momentum through the second half of the season. By releasing the entire squad, the organization has effectively hit the reset button, leaving a group of talented players available on the open market.
As these teams look toward the 2027 season, the competitive landscape is set for a dramatic shift. Stay tuned to MyEsports predictions for updates on how these rosters eventually shape up.
