The landscape of international women’s Counter-Strike 2 is preparing for a significant showdown in Banten, Indonesia, this December. With the IESF 2026 World Esports Championship set to take place from December 15th to the 20th, Team USA has officially revealed the squad that will carry the national flag.
The roster is built on a foundation of familiar faces, heavily leaning on the expertise of FlyQuest RED. This strategic decision comes as the competitive scene looks to capitalize on the experience of players who have consistently performed at the highest level of the women's circuit.
A Familiar Core
The lineup features a blend of current and former FlyQuest RED talent:
- Emma "emy" Choe (Current FlyQuest RED)
- Vanessa "vanessa" Gideon (Current FlyQuest RED)
- Marissa "madss" Dasta (FlyQuest RED Alumna)
- Kelsie "uhKelsie" Click (FlyQuest RED Alumna)
- Olha "olya" Kryvulych (Formerly of Blue Otter and wwaves)
- Wrenna "Stx" Trampel (Coach, Current FlyQuest RED IGL)
This specific group is no stranger to the IESF stage. The core of this roster has secured a top-four finish in both previous editions of the tournament, proving their ability to navigate the unique pressures of a nations-based event. By bringing in Wrenna "Stx" Trampel to lead from behind the bench, the team is clearly prioritizing tactical cohesion and leadership to push past their previous semi-final ceilings.
Why This Matters
For many of these players, the IESF 2026 event represents a vital opportunity to compete on a global stage. With the broader women's CS2 circuit facing a period of transition and limited LAN opportunities, the chance to represent the United States at a major international tournament is more than just a badge of honor—it is a critical test of their current form.
The involvement of the USA Esports committee in selecting this roster suggests a more deliberate approach to international competition compared to previous years. Fans and analysts alike will be watching closely to see if this synergy can translate into a podium finish in Indonesia.
